Meet The Participants

Imran Ali, M.D., Moderator Imran is a recent medical graduate working as a research associate at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York before an anticipated residency in Internal Medicine. He is currently a student getting his MPH in Health Policy and Management/Disaster Medicine at New York Medical College. He also gained experience at CNN working the medical news unit for 1 year. Imran is a host at Radio Rounds.

John Corker, Panelist: John is a fourth-year medical student at the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, and currently serves as the student member of the American Medical Association’s Physician Council on Legislation. He recently completed a year in Washington DC serving as the AMA’s Government Relations Advocacy Fellow, and has formerly served as the Health Care Correspondent for the Next Generation Journal. John is a Director at Radio Rounds.

Arvind Suguness, Panelist: Arvind is a fourth year medical student at the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. He is the blog director for Doctors for America, a Health Care Reform Advocacy Organization made up of over 16,000 doctors and medical students. Arvind is the Webmaster at Radio Rounds.

Jessica Stephens, Panelist: Jessica is a fourth year medical student at the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. She has served as an intern and national field director for Doctors for America.
